Quick and tasty matar paneer recipe!


• 100 gms Boiled peas
• 100 gms Paneer cubes
• 1 cup Tomato puree
• 1 Chopped onion
• 1 tsp Kasuri methi
• ½ tsp Jeera
• a pinch of Hing
• 1 tsp Dhania powder
• ½ tsp Sauf powder
• ½ tsp Garam masala
• ½ cup Milk
• 1 tbsp Curd
• ½ tsp Red chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp Oil


• Take oil in a pan, add chopped onion and sauté till light brown.
• Now add heeng, jeera, dhania powder, sauf powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, red chiili powder, salt and puree sauté till oil separates.
• Now add curd and cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
• Add peas and paneer and cook for 5 minutes.
• Now add milk. Now cover and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
• Add little water if needed to make the gravy thick enough.
• Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
• Your quick and delicious matar paneer is ready.
