Brad Pitt in love with Indian Food

You might not like Brad Pitt and might not care that he was in India in 2006 shooting for his film ‘A might Heart’ but you might care of the fact that he loves Indian food as much as you do. It was during shooting of his movie ‘A mighty heart’ in 2006 that he got to truly experience Indian food and culture.

During his subsequent interviews, Brad Pitt said that he was impressed about the sheer number of people living together, living in harmony, the colours of the cities, the smell of the cities, their food and architecture. He loved Diwali and said he would very much like to be here for Holi, the other Indian festival he had heard much about.

In his own words: I love Indian food. Chicken masala, dal and nan.

So, my recipe for the day- Dal Fry dedicated to one of my favourite hollywood star Brad Pitt:

Favourite food of MS DHONI – Butter Chicken

After watching India’s performance in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, I must say I am very impressed with MS Dhoni’s captaincy. Under his captaincy, India won the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, CB Series of 2007–08 , the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2008 in which they beat Australia 2–0 and now ICC cricket world cup 2011.

I am sure one of the reasons for his success is good diet and exercise. His wife Sakshi Rawat now Sakshi Dhoni is an excellent cook. Afterall, she was a hotel management student at Taj Bengal. She must be feeding some delicious Indian delicacies to Dhoni. I was just reading in a tabloid that when it comes to Indian food, this cool Indian cricket captain Dhoni loves Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. So, two of my favourite recipes, dedicated to Mr. Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

India wins Cricket World Cup 2011- Time to celebrate

Tonight was a great night in India’s cricket history. Sachin Tendulkar was finally able to hold world cup in his hands. India won 2011 Cricket world cup by beating Sri Lanka with 6 wickets. Team India under the leadership of MS Dhoni and training of Gary Kirsten proved that they deserved the title of world champions. What a great performance by Gautam Gambir, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. Sri Lanka was a solid competitor and performed well too. However, in the end it’s the win that matters.

Now, that we’ve won the world cup, it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy the victory. Let’s celebrate this win with some great food. How about savory butter chicken or shrimp curry. Well, if you want to try something vegetarian then try paneer chilli or perhaps Punjabi Chole. My favourite is Aloo Paranthas so I am gonna cook some and watch the highlights of ICC world cup 2011.

The best Spinach Recipe – Palak Paneer

Ok, I am biased when I say Palak Paneer is the best spinach recipe ever but then I am a big curry fan and this curry like dish of spinach is so different from other spinach dishes like Spinach dip, Spinach rolls, Spinach salad, Spinach quiche etc.
